Managing and Analyzing Data

Event Type: Nonprofit Central Program
Date: 4/21/2014
Start Time: 3:00 PM
End Time: 4:00 PM
This program presented by Serve IT from Indiana University will introduce you how to best manage and analyze all of the data your nonprofit maintains. Everything from financial stats, website stats, membership information, and more.

This session will cover a few basic Microsoft Excel functions with the addition of charts and their various usages within Microsoft Word and Excel. We’ll start with the IF function and learn its helpful uses to sort data, and move onto worksheet referencing that will give you the knowledge to grab information from other, outside worksheets. We’ll then be moving onto the various Excel and Word charts, and their appropriate uses that will represent your data in the best, and clearest way possible. After all, you will have the know-how to make use of Excel’s built in functions, and the ability to deliver information through charts in a more clear, and vivid way.
