Event Type: Main Library Adult Program Age Group(s): Adults (18 year olds and up) Date: 4/28/2013 Start Time: 2:00 PM End Time: 3:30 PM Description: Have you ever tried writing a poem about a painting or sculpture you love? How about composing one about a piece of abstract art where you can invent the story or jump off from an evocative title? Remember during childhood when you looked at a painting and imagined a whole new world? “A picture is a painting without words,” Horace once said. Please join us in exploring several poems by well-known poets based upon art and in creating one of your own. No experience necessary. This program is cosponsored with the Writers’ Guild of Bloomington. Please register.
